CALLING FOR YOUTH LEADERS FOR THE 2018 MELBOURNE MACCABI JUNIOR CARNIVAL

We are so excited to be recruiting for the 2018 Maccabi Carnival, which will be in Melbourne from 14-21 January, 2018. Maccabi has taken on feedback, and is really working to change things up this year. The changes mean even greater involvement by the Youth Leaders, and even more fun.

If you are aged between 18-26, then Maccabi Australia would like to know more about you, and the reasons why you wish to apply to be a part of our team.

Please click here for the application form and return completed form to Youth Leader Co-ordinator, Daniel Sischy

If you have any questions contact Daniel Sischy by emailing leadership@maccabi.com.au

One week to go until EOFY - Your donation can really make a difference

We invite you to continue to play a part in making Maccabi Victoria’s vision of “connecting our Jewish community through sport” a reality.

The funds we raise are vital to ensure we can continue to run and develop new, inclusive and innovative programs to connect Jewish kids of all abilities through sport, no matter what their financial circumstances. This includes providing outstanding coaching, leadership and mentoring programs for succession planning in our clubs, professional support for our volunteers and administrators and a pathway to ensure we retain our junior members within the Maccabi environment.

We would be most grateful for your donations.

Two Great Wins for Waterpolo Teams

SL3 defeated top of the ladder Monash 6-5. We haven’t beaten Monash for a couple of years, so it was a really good effort by all. Unfortunately the other games did not go our way, so we are stuck in 5th (3rd on goal difference).

SL7 had another solid win. We are now a game and a large goal difference clear in 2nd spot, so we should be in the grand final in two weeks – well done guys!
