Teams must be nominated to the Association by SEPTEMBER 3 so we need to get an idea of teams by the 2nd session
AFTER THE 3 NET Sessions:
we move to Woollahra Oval No 2 at the end of Manion Avenue Rose Bay - date to be confirmed but same times and age groups but note it goes to WEDNESDAY after the Net sessions. We only have the 1st 3 practices on tuesday because thats the only date we can get the nets and we are one of very few clubs allowed access to the nets in cricket season (mostly due to the fact we have hired there since its 1st year of existence)
First Comp Games:
Round 1 - commences weekend of September 18 / 19 but as the 18th is Yom Kippur I have requested byes for teams that day. There may be games scheduled for September 25/26 (1st weekend of school holidays) but thats up to the Cricket association. My experinece is they will.
There will be a break for School Holidays and we will commence again October 9 / 10
To summarise here - the association have decided that the weekend school breaks up and the weekend before we go back will both have matches scheduled. This may change as there are many who will be away - but at this point this is what I am told the "Association" intend doing.
Registration forms will be available from training. Email Mick Vasin for more details on info@maccabi.com.au
