WA Swims 32 km's for MS

Posted: 19-Dec-2013 by Maccabi WA

Maccabiah Gold Medal Winner Malcolm Levin rallied up the WA swimming troops to get a team competing in this year's Swimathon for MS.

They ended up swimming 633 laps as a group equaling 31.65 kilometres.

Special mentions go to:

Warren Kotkis who swam 6 kilometers straight.
Miguel who came straight from a Triathalon to warm down.
Gary Hatfield and Steve Cohen who haven’t swam since last year’s swimathon.
Trevor who was still getting cash donations at the pool on the day.
The husband team of Rav Natti and his wife Shiri competing against each other.
Rachel Cohen showing up her “guys”.
David Lenoff getting in the water early when we needed him.
Juleah who despite having other things to do, did a great job.
Rael who has found his new freestlye stroke as well as sharing the glory with his son Michael and friend Adam.
Debbie Katz who saw us swimming, gave us a donation and swam for us.
Last push from Gary, Steve and Rachel to get even more donations.

They raised over $3500 for MS!
