Women's Health & Being Breakfast

Posted: 03-Nov-2011 by Maccabi VIC

Over 200 guests from the corporate sector, allied health fields, communal organisations and Maccabi Clubs, filled stunning new beach venue, Encore, for the 2011 annual Women’s Health & Wellbeing Breakfast on Thursday 27 October to enjoy a healthy kosher breakfast and wonderful presentations from Guest Speakers, Tania de Jong AM and Lola Berry.

Tania de Jong AM , a leading Australian soprano, social Entrepreneur and Founder of Creativity Australia and Creative Universe to inspire people to find their voice and to improve wellbeing, engagement and innovation in organisations and communities, certainly inspired the crowd, culminating with her own spine-tingling rendition of ‘Somewhere’.

Leading Australian Nutritionist and self-confessed ‘health nut’, Lola Berry, who passionately inspires people to better their everyday lives, and has a holistic and energetic approach to healthy living, treated the guests to an organic foods
cooking demonstration including a Quinoa Salad and Raw Date Fudge Balls.

The morning concluded with the drawing of the Super Raffle, with over 20 fabulous prizes up for grabs.
And everyone was a winner as they took home with them a Gift Bag, jam-packed with a huge variety of ‘Good Health & Wellbeing’ goodies, as a token of appreciation of the pivotal role they play each day in promoting good health and wellbeing in the home and workplace environment.
