It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years since the last Friends of Maccabi Luncheon while focussing on our 90th Anniversary Celebrations and 4th Induction to the Hall of Fame Events.
And our Friends of Maccabi returned in full force to their much loved bi-annual Luncheons and this event as always was a wonderful event, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
It was a privilege to have newly appointed Maccabi Victoria Director of Coaching and Player Development/Senior Coach of the AJAX Football Club, Mark Williams as the Special Guest Speakers at the luncheon. Mark’s engaging, inspiring and most humourous presentation left us all wanting for more. Mark was most gracious in taking the time to chat and pose for pics with our ‘friends’ and sponsors throughout the luncheon.
Maccabi Victoria President, Brian Swersky was delighted to welcome Maccabi Victoria sponsors, Danny Lustig and Joe Kalb from Lowe Lippmann and acknowledged all Maccabi Victoria sponsors – Scott Winton, Antler, Bensons, and Metricon - whose ongoing generous support of Maccabi Victoria is most appreciated.
We are also most grateful to Corporate Table supporter Jaffe Consulting, and to all the Raffle supporters Chemist Warehouse, Genesis Fitness Caulfield, Cranbourne Golf Club, Rebel, Classic Cinemas Elsternwick, Mat-Tastic, Limors Dana Rosen – DR Designs , Continental Kosher Butcher and the Shook for kindly providing the fantastic prizes for our popular raffle. We gratefully thank everyone for supporting the raffle by purchasing raffle tickets.
A sincere thank you also to Judy and Malcolm Bulafkin of Handcrafted Flowers who continue to make our luncheon venue look fabulous with their generous contribution of the beautiful floral table centrepieces which is most appreciated, to Trialia Foods for generously donating the wines for this luncheon and of course to Unger Catering for the delicious lunch. In the spirit of helping each other, please support our sponsors, event supporters and raffle prize donors who have generously contributed to the Friends of Maccabi luncheon.
Watch this space for the details on the next ‘Friends of Maccabi’ event to be held in 2016. A ‘Hold the Date’ e-mail will also be sent out shortly to all Friends of Maccabi.
