2016 Men's Singles Champion Asaf Nagar, 2015 Champion Assaf Drori and runner-up Arthur Kaganovitch.

The final weekend of the 2016 Maccabi Tennis Club and Victorian Jewish Tennis Championships completed a successful tournament.  For the first time, the Fast 4 family event was introduced, enabling parents to play with their children in a competitive but family friendly setting.

There was a new Men's Singles Champion, with Club Coach Asaf Nagar, winning his first title, having been runner-up on four previous occasions.  Nagar defeated talented 16-year-old Arthur Kaganovitch, 6-1 6-2, in the final.

In the Men's B Singles event, another youngster with great promise, 15-year-old Matt Lincoln, prevailed in a tight contest against Adam Needleman, winning 6-7 6-3 6-2.

Joey Pat and Steve Gostin won the Men's Doubles final, against Needleman and Ryan Behr.

In the junior events, Liam Shapiro was too strong for Zoe Magnezi, winning the girls' singles.  Jordan Jaffe was victorious in the boys' under 16 singles event.

Trophy presentations will be made at the Maccabi Tennis Club AGM, scheduled to be held on Tuesday 15 November at 7:30pm.
