Maccabi Little Kickers first kick out

Posted: 10-Feb-2013 by Football (Soccer) Junior

Maccabi Little Kickers had a ball

Dear players and parents,

first day at MLK, and all went fairly smoothly.

After all kids received their bag with tops, shorts, socks and flyers, they went of in their groups to do some soccer drills.

Today we focussed a bit on ball mastery or skill by rolling our sole around the ball to the left and than to the right.

We did some ball tapping and I saw some kids
were able to do this very fast.

We learned a bit about dribbling with the ball, which means to keep our head up so not to bump into any one and keep the ball close to our feet for ball control.

We were put into teams and half of the team received bibs so we knew exactly who was on who's team.

Every one dribbled, kicked, passed and shot at goal!

It was great to see that everyone was enjoying themselves.
