Maccabi Young Guns - calling for Term 2 and 3 members !

Posted: 12-May-2018 by Cycling

Maccabi Young guns is a well established cycling program, giving the Jewish youth in Victoria an opportunity to improve their fitness, bike handling skills and racing tactics while bringing likeminded individuals together.

With a world class coach, ex professional cyclist Alex Clements, Young Guns holds a weekly, after school session either indoors or outdoors, depending on the season.

The outdoor sessions are held on the Hawthorn velodrome on your own bike (Terms 1 and 4) and winter sessions are held at Genesis Gym on Hawthorn Road on a stationary bike (Terms 2 and 3), enabling a year-round program.

Although road bikes are recommended, young guns is suited to all kids from the age of 12 of all riding abilities, who are keen to develop and improve their cycling ability and overall fitness

Unsure whether you want to fork out on a new bike? Starting Young Guns during Term 2 and 3 (on a stationary bike provided by the gym) is the perfect time to grow your love of riding, and you will know what you need for Term 4 when the weather improves!

Young Guns is always open for more members to join, and would love for you or your kids to check it out.

The Young Guns sessions for Term 2 and Term 3 are held at Genesis Caulfield, 211-217 Hawthorn Road Caulfield, on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 7:15pm.

If you would like more information about the program, please contact the coordinator, Brendan Glasser at
