Posted: 13-Jan-2015 by Cycling

You may have already heard of our amazing Maccabi Young Guns (MYG) program - it's pretty awesome. Let us tell you a bit more!

What is MYG?

The MYG program caters for cyclists between the ages of 12-18 looking to improve their skills and abilities. It's a fun packed program that involves outdoor and indoor cycling (during the winter months), social activities and racing.

Our sessions in summer are conducted between 5:30-7pm on Tuesday evenings at Hawthorne Velodrome.

What the program offers:

- Weekly training in a safe and supportive environment
- A great social experience
- Professional coach (Belinda Goss, former World Champion track cyclist)
- Regular social events (pizza nights and rides)
- Opportunities to try out racing

Don't have kids? Here's how you can help:

We encourage you to forward this email on to anyone who you think may be interested regardless of whether they are currently Maccabi members or not. Some of our most successful Young Guns do not have parents that ride. If you know any 12-18 year olds who may have an undiscovered love for cycling, here's your chance to do something about it!

If you have any questions about the program please don't hesitate to email me at or call on 0421790599.

Looking forward to seeing many new faces!
