2016 Award Nominations


2016 Maccabi Award nominations now open!

Maccabi Australia together with Maccabi States work to connect our Jewish community through sport. It is important that as part of this we identify, recognise and reward sporting and leadership achievements.

To this end, Maccabi is seeking nominations for its Annual Awards, recognising achievements from the 2016 calendar year.

Nominations are for the State Maccabi Awards and State Award Winners will then be eligible to receive the Maccabi Australia Award in that category (except for the Maccabi Administrator of the Year).

We are calling for nominations in the following categories:

  • Outstanding Maccabi Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Sportsman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Junior Sportsman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Junior Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Masters Sportsman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Masters Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Maccabi Administrator of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish Sportsman of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish Junior Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish Masters Sportsman of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish Masters Sportswoman of the Year
  • Outstanding Jewish All Abilities Sportsperson Award (new award)
  • NSW Jewish Sports Administrator of the Year Award (NSW only)
  • NSW Team of the Year Award (NSW only)
  • VIC Team of the Year Award (VIC only)

Nominations are also open for the Rudi Roth Scholarship. The scholarship is open to all emerging athletes seeking additional funding to support you on your journey.
