Maccabi NSW: General Manager Recruitment

Are you the right person to lead Maccabi NSW, the roof body for all
Maccabi Clubs, committed to developing and promoting Jewish sport
in NSW?

Can you

• Provide leadership and guidance to the dedicated team of
professionals who work for us;
• Develop strong and collaborative relationships with Maccabi
professionals in other States and Nationally;
• Work and support our volunteer Board and our Club Presidents,
Maccabi Youth and their committees;
• Engage with other communal organisations to work cooperatively
to achieve common goals;
• Work with Local and State Government representatives as well as
Sporting bodies to facilitate the financial and facility needs of
Maccabi NSW and its Clubs;
• Implement Maccabi NSW’s strategic plan;
• Develop a culture of inclusion in all Maccabi activities;
• Support the Clubs to achieve pathways to develop the sports ability
of all our youth;
• Grow fundraising activities through the development of strong
relationships with the JCA, MAI, Sponsors and other funding
sources and manage the distribution of funds to Clubs;
• Be responsible for the P&L and Balance Sheet and the achievement
of financial objectives;
• Establish budgets and targets for the organisation and set and
monitor kpi’s for all its activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance of all Maccabi NSW activities and help
the Club’s achieve the same.
• Manage Maccabi NSW major events whether sporting or social;
• Build the reputation and profile of Maccabi NSW;
• Drive the introduction of new technology to facilitate greater
  effciencies and communicate better
• Engage with the next generation?

A strong affinity to the Jewish Community and Sport is essential.
An association with Maccabi would be seen as advantageous as
would a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Sports administration
or similar management role.
