Maccabi takes the protection of its members, staff and volunteers seriously and has clear processes in place to support grievances and complaints. Where possible, Maccabi seeks to resolve all grievances and complaints by agreement between people involved in a co-operative and productive manner.

We will handle complaints based on the principles of procedural fairness, and ensure:

  • confidentiality;
  • the person who the complaint is being made about will be given full details of what is being alleged against them and have the opportunity to respond to those allegations;
  • irrelevant matters will not be taken into account;
  • decisions will be unbiased;
  • any penalties imposed will be reasonable.

Generally, incidents at Club level should be reported to or referred to the relevant Club first. Your Club Compliance Officer details are available via your Club.
