Junior Cricketers Having a Ball

Posted: 28-Nov-2019 by Maccabi NSW

The first half of the Summer Cricket season is drawing to a close.

We have completed the first batch of 6-week clinics for ages 5-10, where all the kids have had a blast learning the basics of cricket.

Additionally, we've had 2 teams competing in the SEJCA U-9 competition, where the teams have done remarkably well given it is their first season back in the comp.

Teams coordinator Ryan Kassel says: "From the outset the kids have thoroughly enjoyed their cricket. Training has been great, providing them more guidance on how to play the game and importantly some of the technical elements involved. Game day is a big hit and the kids have been outstanding with bat and ball. Incredibly the fielding and running between wickets has been the difference in the games so far. The attitude and sportsmanship has allowed the Maccabi brand to stand tall and proud to reinvigorate Maccabi Junior Cricket".
