Maccabi and Jewish Care Collaborative Artwork

Posted: 22-Dec-2016 by Maccabi NSW

On Friday 16 December a group of eager Maccabi Kids gave up a day in the school holidays to join in a creative clay workshop at JewishCare. The kids volunteered their time to create a collaborative artwork working alongside JewishCare clients and the workers at Print35.

It was a stimulating, interactive and meaningful day for all involved. For JCA it was a wonderful opportunity to connect our children with the community, in particular JewishCare, Maccabi and Wolper Jewish Hospital.

Hopefully all participants, and their parents now have a better understanding of how JCA helps these member organisations in meeting the needs of the community as relates to the vulnerable, the elderly, the ill and our sporting youth.

The artwork created on the day will feature as part of JCA’s marketing culminating in an art exhibition in 2017.
