First aiders qualified thanks to Wolper Foundation

Posted: 15-Dec-2016 by Maccabi NSW

Last weekend, Maccabi NSW put a group of youth leaders, team managers & coaches from various clubs through a 1st Aid Course.

The course was funded by the Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation, as part of a recent grant that was awarded to Maccabi NSW to help raise the level of safety & wellbeing that Maccabi provides to its members.

The grant will also allow further first aid courses in 2017 as well as the provision of dozens of first aid Kits to be distributed throughout the club.

The course was run by Magen David Adom and participants covered topics such as CPR, head/neck injuries, joint injuries, seizures, wound management & more.

Thanks must go to the Wolper Jewish Hospital Health Foundation for the valuable support provided to Maccabi NSW.
